The Metalist Hammer Fist

Dirk, alias TheMetalist, has designed a hammer that is truly special. He is not only artistically talented, but has also discovered his love of art in the metal industry. He builds extremely cool things out of metal and wanted to have unique tools for his workshop that not everyone has.

So he took his own hands as inspiration and developed a hammer in the shape of a fist. His flat hand turned into an axe, and he even built a so-called “third hand” for the workshop. This third hand supports you when welding if you need both hands.

For example, when tig welding, where you hold the torch in your right hand and the filler material in your left hand. In such cases, a third hand is very useful to hold the workpiece.

Dirk built this fist hammer and they will be released this year. A Kickstarter campaign is currently underway. Below you will find the link where you can already purchase the hammer. As soon as a certain number is reached, production is started and you receive your hammer.

In any case, it’s a very individual and cool thing. Not everyone has a hammer like this. The pictures give you a great overview, and I’ve also attached a video where you can see exactly how Dirk makes these tools.

It’s a brand new video in which he even shows a sledgehammer in extreme dimensions. The attention to detail is impressive. The parts were manufactured very precisely and meticulously.
