I once again had the honor of testing a new welding machine. And this time from welding manufacturer ipotools and a MAG welding machine, but of course it can also weld electrodes.

 

 

 

That’s exactly what I tested for you, to tell you what’s good about the device and what’s not.

 

 

 

First of all, I have to say that I was very surprised at how cool the device is and how well it can really weld. There is not much technology on the device, but this is not necessarily decisive as to whether the device is good or bad.

 

 

 

The first step was to unpack the device and assemble everything. It all went very quickly and now we just need to insert the wire and then we can start. I have to say it was all very easy. If you want to weld with a five kilo wire reel, first thread the wire into it and then put the reel onto the fixture. So that you will find it a little easier.

 

 

 

And then we started welding. Always use a test tray to find the right setting. Of course, it is an experience value to know how much power you need for welding.

 

 

 

Wire feed can then be adjusted perfectly by hearing and seeing. Yes, and I have to say that it works really well with the device and I immediately had a lot of fun welding.

 

 

 

The whole thing was really extremely quick because you only have two adjustment wheels, so you can work really well and act very quickly.

 

 

Now, of course, I wanted to know whether electrode welding works just as well with it. And first of all, I was extremely surprised again, the conversion is relatively quick. What I liked best of all was the ignition of the electrode, how well and easily it worked. Anyone who has ever welded electrodes knows that it doesn’t always go as well as you would like
