How do I feed the filler material correctly during TIG welding?

 

Today’s topic is how do I add the filler correctly when TIG welding.

 

 

There are of course two variants that can be used for this. The first thing to look at, of course, is right-handed or left-handed, i.e. in which hand I use the TIG torch and the filler material in which one.

 

Then of course there are different ways of holding the filler material: in the middle of the hand, between the thumb and index finger, others place it between the ring finger and the little finger and push it with the thumb.

 

 

 

 

 

 

To start with, I recommend making it as easy as possible for yourself. First of all, it is important to focus on the melting bath and the to concentrate so that you can recognize this well and get a feel for the process with the TIG torch and the additive.

 

 

 

That it first becomes a routine in the body. If you are a little more advanced or experienced, you can refine and perfect the whole thing. I also think that the length of the weld seams is important for guiding the filler materials.
