Electrode welding in practice
Hey sweat fan greetings,
Electrode welding in practice
Do you already weld electrodes or are you planning to start with electric welding?
I have to be honest and admit that I didn’t realize how many different electrode welding processes there are in practice. These are of course best suited to different areas of application. But of course it’s cool that I have a strong partner, Michael, who has a lot of knowledge about electric welding. That’s exactly why we spent a day electrode welding together and tested the different electrodes and, of course, the different weld seams. So by that I mean falling and rising welds, fillet welds, butt welds, seams, etc.
I have to admit that I wasn’t that much of an electrode welder at the beginning, but since I’ve known which electrode to use for which area, it’s really different and it’s a lot more fun.
The best and most important tip is simply that if you buy the right electrode pack, it is always marked on the packaging how it can be welded to which polarity and which weld seams are possible with it.
That’s why it’s really important that you always put the electrode back in the correct packaging when you’ve started using it. In other words, always keep the electrodes sorted and preferably put them back in their original packaging so that you always know exactly how to set your device and what to pay attention to.
The best way to see how we have applied the whole thing in practice is to watch our video! Of course, we recorded the whole thing on video and you can see everything much better there. So take a look. If you want to get started with electrode welding in practice or need some tips, this video is the right place for you.
