Simson s51 mounting stand
Hey Simson fan,
I removed the main stand from my Simson a long time ago and now only have the side stand on it.
Of course, this can quickly become a problem if I want to screw something or just need to remove a wheel. Then the problem was that I always had to find something to put my moped on. Everyone knows that perhaps the first thing is a wooden trestle or a beer crate and the moped is placed on it. Of course, it’s not safe here and it’s far too wobbly, so I thought something had to be done! That’s why we took a few minutes to design something cool.
So that no matter which variant you have as a moped, you can stand your Simson properly to work on it. The result is this.
We had the whole thing lasered onto 8 mm sheet steel. The whole thing is a plug-in system and is fixed in place with a few spot welds.
The big advantage we see in the whole thing is that both wheels are in the air, because we have two points that rest directly on the frame foot, so the moped is really top.
We have two versions in our store, one is the finished version and the other is the one you can put together yourself, I’ll include the link here
And here I’ll add another video so you can watch the whole thing again in video form
