Welding gas bottle sizes
Hey sweat fan greetings,
Welding gas bottle sizes
Which ones are there and what difference does it make – which ones do you really need for yourself?
Of course, there are different sizes for different applications. I would differentiate between whether you need a small, handy bottle for when you’re out and about, for example when you’re welding on site, or whether you need to transport the bottle frequently.
Or do you have a fixed welding station and where you have to move the bottle in the workshop at most. Then it is of course advantageous if you have a welding trolley where you can transport the whole thing from A to B in one go.
Of course, size doesn’t really matter. So we use the 33 l 300 bar cylinders in our workshop
From Air Liquide. I have to say, these are really great bottles and they also last an extremely long time. Of course, they are a little bigger and a little heavier than the 200 bottles, but they also last much longer. Nevertheless, they still fit on the welding trolley, so you don’t necessarily need a fixed place to put the bottles, but can still handle them easily.
This is normally the standard size that I would recommend for everyone at home or in the workshop. The big advantage of the bottles, in case you didn’t know, is the system they have, which means that you don’t need a separate pressure reducer. What I think is extremely cool is that I once made a video about it.
I have included the link below. An absolutely cool story for you, you can get in touch with the guys at the link.
They will make you an offer free of charge and make sure that the bottle is delivered to your home, for example, or they will tell you where the nearest retailer is where you can pick it up in your area. You can also save 10% on your order by clicking on the link. I think it’s really cool. So just have a look around and I hope you enjoy welding.
