Of course, I know this very well myself. I am in motocross in the enduro sector on the road and of course this happens from time to time.

 

 

Assuming a housing has a crack, this is repairable. You don’t have to buy a new housing for 1000 euros. It is more difficult with vintage parts that are not easy to buy.
