The compactly designed WELDINGER IGBT plasma cutter PS 53 pilot scores with its user-friendly, safe operating comfort and a pilot arc for fast, material-independent ignition. The cutting arc only forms when the pilot arc touches the workpiece. For your safety, the pilot arc only ignites when a compressor is connected.

For operation, you need an air compressor with an air output of 120 l/min and a separately available compressed air hose. Suitable WELDINGER whirl compressors (e.g. WELDINGER FK 120 pro/FK 200 pro mobile or FK240 pro), as well as accessories and wear parts for plasma cutting can be found in our range.

The inverter is supplied with a 16 A CEE7/7 plug. Check that the power supply and protective devices (fuses and/or circuit breaker) match the current you need for welding. We recommend a 16A slow-blow mains fuse on the primary side (NEOZED fuse). For intensive use, please use a 20A mains fuse.

The PS 53 pilot cuts all electrically conductive materials such as steel, stainless steel, brass, copper or aluminum. It is equipped with an externally mountable pressure regulator with quick-release coupling for the required compressed air source. A high-quality AG-60 plasma torch with ergonomically shaped handle, ball joint and guide spring enables particularly precise and even cuts.

When installing the pressure regulator, it is essential to observe the direction of flow of the compressed air, which is marked with an arrow on the regulator. If installed incorrectly, the pressure reducer will not allow the required amount of compressed air through and the cut will fail!
