User-friendly entry-level appliance with synergic programs

The WELDINGER MEW 180 miniSYN is a portable, single-phase (230V), air-cooled MAG/MMA welding inverter for DC welding of mild steel. Its ultra-compact dimensions and particularly simple operation make the MEW 180 miniSYN the ideal entry-level or second device for mobile use. In MIG/MAG mode, welding is possible in shielding gas mode, with synergic function or with cored wire (NoGas), for which the torch can be conveniently reversed on the front of the device.

MAG functions
– Wire feed unit eco for D100 welding wire reels (1 kg) and welding wire from 0.6-0.9 mm
– Infinitely variable adjustment of wire feed speed and welding voltage
– High-quality hose package MB 150 with fixed connection
– Suitable for cored wire with polarity reversal function on the front of the device
– Welding rod holder with LEFT-hand thread

We recommend WELDINGER cored wire 0.8 mm (article 9857) or 0.9 mm (article 10644).

MMA functions (electrode welding)
– Weldable electrode diameters 1.6-4 mm
– with Hot Start, Anti Stick and Arc Force
– Infinitely variable welding current
– Simple conversion from MIG/MAG to electrode operation

Hot Start: prevents the electrode from sticking by briefly superimposing / increasing the welding current.
Arc Force: automatically regulates the current value to keep the arc constant for as long as possible.
Anti-stick: shortly before the short circuit, the system delivers the set maximum current to prevent the electrode from sticking and annealing.
