We have a large demand and use seven or eight a day for different purposes.
I use welding blankets in the automotive sector, where they are actually indispensable. We use them to protect sensitive parts from sparks or splashes. Place them without the part to be welded underneath to protect components during welding, especially if the original paint is to be retained. In areas where the temperature needs to be dissipated slowly from the component, we wrap the component in a welding blanket to minimize hot cracks.
No workshop should be without a welding blanket. Do not use normal cuddly blankets, which can burn quickly. Our welding blankets also offer an extinguishing function – a safe tool just in case.
