Professional digital welding machine of the latest generation for aluminum welding
Versatile use for steel, stainless steel, aluminium, cast iron, copper, bronze, magnesium and galvanized material
The WELDINGER WE 2003P ACDC is a digital IGBT TIG welding inverter for DC and AC welding. All TIG functions can be controlled and saved via the clearly laid out digital display using modern one-button operation. An integrated parameter diagram provides information at a glance about the selected settings and the status of the welding process. In contrast to simpler TIG devices, the WE 2003P ACDC allows precise fine adjustment of all relevant values in order to achieve the best results with the respective material.
Adjustable TIG parameters:
GAS PREFLOW The gas pre-flow time is the time between pressing the torch trigger and opening the gas valve until the arc is formed. The setting range is between 0.1 and 1 s, the factory setting is 0.3 s.
START CURRENT (selectable in 4T mode). The starting current starts after the burner button is pressed. The higher the starting current, the easier the arc is formed. The setting range for AC HF is between 10 and 100% of the set welding current, for AC Lift between 30 and 100% DC HF between 5 and 100%. The factory setting is 5%.
RISE TIME The rise time from the starting current to the welding current. The setting range is between 0-10 s, the factory setting is 0 s.
WELDING CURRENT The welding current setting range is between 10-200 A.
Peak current: The setting range of the peak current is between 10-200 A.
BASE CURRENT The base current makes it easier to control the heat that is introduced into the material. The base current can only be set during pulse welding. The setting range is between 10-200 A (AC and 5-200 A(DC).
DESCENT TIME The descent time from the welding current to the final current. The setting range is between 0-10 s.
CRATER CURRENT Here you set the final current for the final crater filling in four-cycle mode. The setting range for AC HF is between 10 and 100% of the set welding current, for AC Lift between 30 and 100% DC HF between 5 and 100%. The factory setting is 5%.
GAS AFTERFLOW The gas afterflow time is the time from when the arc cools down until the gas valve closes. While gas flows in, it protects the solidifying molten bath from oxidation and cools the tungsten electrode. If the post-flow time is too short, this can result in oxidation of the weld seam. The setting range is between 0.1 and 10 s.
PULSE The pulse frequency is the value at which the pulse varies between the welding current and the base current. The setting range is between 0.5-200 Hz, the factory setting is 0.5 Hz.
PULSE WIDTH Here you set the duration of the pulse to influence the depth of the burn-in. While a higher value ensures deeper firing, a lower value means less heat is introduced into the material. This reduces the risk of burning through thinner sheets or small parts during welding. The setting range is between 5-100%.
AC FREQUENCY This function (10) is required for aluminum welding. The higher the AC frequency, the better the welding quality and the concentration of the arc. The setting range is between 40-200 Hz.
AC BALANCE This controls the ratio of the duration between the positive and negative phases (11).
If you reduce the balance value, you introduce more heat into the material, create a narrower seam and a deeper penetration. At the same time, you reduce the heat load on the tungsten electrode. By increasing the value, you apply less heat to the material and achieve a wider seam with less penetration. The load on the electrode is higher. The setting range is 20-50%, the factory setting is 20%.
In TIG mode, you also have the option of choosing between normal and pulsed operation, between HF ignition and Lift Arc, and between 2- and 4-cycle operation.
Manual metal arc welding (MMA)
You can also achieve professional results with electrode welding with the WE 2003P ACDC. Welding current, hot start and arc force are adjustable. Hot Start increases the starting current, ensures a good welding start and prevents the electrode from sticking. Arc Force allows the dynamics of the arc to be adjusted.
If the arc length is reduced, the amperage automatically increases to stabilize the arc. A lower value produces a softer arc with lower penetration, a higher value produces a harder, short arc for deeper penetration. The setting range is between 0-10. 1.6-4 mm diameter electrodes can be welded.
A suitable electrode holder cable for the WE 2003P ACDC is available separately in our store (e.g. article 4789).

Reusable pressure regulator pro
Compact pressure regulator made of solid brass for argon, mixed gas and CO2 with content pressure and flow rate gauges. The WELDINGER shielding gas regulator ‘pro’ is an indispensable accessory for all MIG/MAG and TIG welders. With the regulator, you can keep the set pressure constant almost until the gas cylinder is completely empty, regardless of the withdrawal quantity. The pressure can be conveniently adjusted using the handy adjustment screw on the underside. A separate shut-off valve is provided for work breaks.
Automatic welding helmet
The WELDINGER AH 350 real color automatic welding helmet is suitable for the following welding processes: Electrode/MMA, MIG/MAG, TIG/ TIG, plasma welding and cutting, gas welding and cutting with darkening up to DIN 13. Of course, it can also be used as eye protection during grinding and cut-off cutting. It reliably protects the eyes and face from UV and IR radiation with a DIN 16 protection rating, regardless of whether the filter is light, dark or not in use. The Realcolor technology offers an unadulterated view of the weld seam and enables precise and eye-friendly work.
Special advantages of the SET action TIG welding machine WELDINGER WE 2003P ACDC
– Easy to use and maintain
– Continuous darkening adjustment in the DIN 5-8/ 9-13 range
