The WELDINGER MEW 212 SYN puls pro professional is a portable, single-phase (230V), air-cooled MIG/MAG/WIG/MMA welding inverter for DC welding. Its particularly user-friendly graphic display provides all relevant information about set values such as voltage, welding current, wire speed and selected special functions at a glance.

In addition, the intuitively designed menu navigation allows quick switching between welding processes and rapid setting of all desired parameters. It is controlled digitally via two push buttons. Preset synergy curves facilitate the processing of 0.8 and 1.0 mm steel and stainless steel (308, 316), as well as 1.0 and 1.2 mm aluminum. The device can also be used in purely manual MIG/MAG mode.

Additional MIG/MAG functions include two- and four-stroke, pulse, double pulse, spot and continuous spot welding. For fine adjustment, the burn-back, inductance, soft start, gas pre-run and gas post-run can be set.

The device is also equipped with a quick welding function to meet special requirements. You can select high-speed welding in normal mode or with pulse and double pulse, speed-up high-speed welding, root welding or root welding with pulse.

To switch to cored wire mode, simply change the polarity on the front of the appliance; inside, the appliance can be switched from standard to spool gun mode. A matching spool gun with 12-pin control socket is available separately (item 3148). A 1.0/1.2 mm wire reel and a Teflon core are included for aluminum welding. All common metals can be welded in MIG/MAG mode.

Rutile, stainless steel, steel and basic electrodes can be used for manual metal arc welding (MMA).

Hot Start: prevents the electrode from sticking by briefly superimposing / increasing the welding current Arc Force: automatically regulates the current value to keep the arc constant for as long as possible. Anti-stick: shortly before the short circuit, the system delivers the set maximum current to prevent the electrode from sticking and annealing.
