WELDINGER welding protection blanket SD 12

1×2 m, effective heat protection up to 550°C, briefly up to 700°C

The WELDINGER heat protection fiberglass fabric was specially developed for the welding and metalworking sector. It has a high resistance to sparks, welding spatter, molten metal and all types of heat shock up to 550°C.

This special fabric is characterized by an abrasion-resistant, yet soft and flexible surface, making it ideal for use with work gloves. A particular safety advantage of WELDINGER welding mats is the good protection against flame penetration during burning work, which lasts around 35 seconds for flames with temperatures of up to 550°C.

Even large splashes of liquid metal (up to 35g) can remain on the fabric surface and cool down without penetrating the fabric.

In contrast to welding blankets made of silicate fiber, the WELDINGER SD 12 fiberglass blanket produces only low smoke emissions. This makes the welding protection blanket ideal for use in buildings and enclosed spaces. WELDINGER welding blankets are 100% asbestos-free!

We deliver the blanket in a high-quality protective bag for smooth transportation.
