Machine tap made from high-performance high-speed steel. For through-hole and blind-hole threads, in unalloyed steels up to 800 N/mm² strength. The thread is cut in a single operation. High-speed steel, primarily known as high-speed steel, refers to a group of alloyed tool steels with a carbon content of up to 2.06% and up to 30% alloying elements such as tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium, cobalt, nickel and titanium. HSS materials are characterized by high hardness, wear resistance and heat resistance up to 600°C.
