For years, optrel customers have been well aware that a high level of comfort has a positive effect on employee health and work performance. The headband is the central link between the wearer and the helmet. This is why it plays a decisive role in terms of wearing comfort and ergonomics.

Now the engineers at optrel are setting a new standard in this area with the new ^IsoFit® headband. The optrel ^IsoFit® headband is the only product in the world that can be adjusted in width, length and height – i.e. three-dimensionally – to any head shape, so that the helmet really does fit „like a glove“.

What seems impossible at first glance is made possible by an ingenious design that uses a cable hoist for the first time in the world. This combines a 2-layer construction over the head with a stabilizer at the front and back of the head.

The inner layer and the support elements are equipped with highly comfortable pads made of tricot textile. With every turn of the micro-adjustable dial, the inner position of the headband and the forehead and back of the head stabilizers literally nestle up against the user’s head.

The outer layer remains absolutely stable and ensures maximum stability at all times, even in constrained positions, which is a previously unsolved problem with ergonomic headgear.
