Designed for a consistent finish with a uniform removal rate, flap discs wear evenly without leaving any residue and release new abrasive grit, making their design ideal for sanding contours and uneven surfaces.

The flap discs have a 3 mm or 6 mm thick continuous shaft for better balance, reduction of chatter marks and are less tiring for the user. They also allow faster tool changes on pneumatic sanders. For flap sanders with a shaft, a working speed of 15 – 20 m/s is recommended for the best results.
