WELDINGER CuAl-8 0.8 mm D 100/1 kg for MIG soldering

Wear-resistant copper-aluminum wire electrode for MIG and TIG brazing with high corrosion and brackish water resistance. Main application is the arc brazing of aluminized sheet metal, steel and stainless steel with/without coating. The wire is also used for joining and build-up welding of aluminum bronze, brass, steel and grey cast iron.

Properties

The corrosion protection of galvanized surfaces is largely retained in the joining area. Distortion is kept to a minimum when soldering sheet metal. The lower hardness of the brazing material compared to the iron-based welding material makes it relatively easy to process the seams in the visible area.
The wire is processed with argon as a shielding gas.
