The FS-250 welding helmet fresh air system can be fitted to an existing welding helmet (e.g. AH 350 real color) in just a few simple steps by replacing the headband. A particularly high-quality, three-part filter keeps out coarse dirt and sparks (stainless steel), odors and volatile organic compounds (activated carbon) and fine dust particles (fine filter P3).

All wearing parts for the fresh air system can be reordered individually!

Fresh breathing air is fed into the individually adjustable protective mask via an air hose through the belt ventilation system. The system is powered by a lithium battery, so you can work for hours without restriction. The digital display allows you to keep an eye on the battery charge status, the status of the filters and the fan setting at all times.

To the standards
The European standard for fan filter units with a helmet or hood is EN 12941. The EN 12941 standard does not provide a separate classification for particle filters (P), as the particle filter is part of the overall system. The EN 12941 standard defines three protection classes (TH1, TH2 and TH3). The numbers indicate the protective effect (inward leakage) and the tensile strength of the breathing hoses and couplings within the classification. The maximum permissible inward leakage for protection class TH1 is 10 %, for TH2 2 % and for TH3 0.2 %. This filter system complies with the TH2 standard.
