It should be borne in mind that these fans are the only reason why modern inverter welding machines have such exceptionally good switch-on times ( ED ).

Of course, the fan does not have to run when the appliance is not in use and it is cold.

For this case, we offer a temperature sensor which must be mounted on the cooling fin of the power electronics.

Anyone with basic knowledge of soldering and electrical engineering will certainly have no problems with this conversion.

ATTENTION! Of course, the conversion is at your own risk! This means that all necessary safety precautions must be observed.

If you are unsure, it is better to leave it alone and send the device to us for conversion by a specialist.

What happens to the device warranty?

If the conversion is carried out professionally, there are no problems with the WELDINGER guarantee. Opening a welding machine is part of normal maintenance work from time to time. Cutting a cable here and soldering the sensor in parallel does not change the warranty.

It is important that the sensor is installed with thermal paste in such a way that it can reliably measure the temperature of the heat sink.
