WELDINGER welding protection blanket SD 14

1×2 m, made of ceramic fiber

The WELDINGER heat protection ceramic fabric was specially developed for the welding and metalworking sector. It has a high resistance to sparks, welding spatter, molten metal and all types of thermal shock – continuously up to 1000°C and even up to 1260°C in short-term temperature peaks.

This special fabric is characterized by an abrasion-resistant, yet soft and flexible surface, making it ideal for use with work gloves. A particular safety advantage of the WELDINGER ceramic fiber welding mat is its good protection against flame penetration, excellent tensile strength and chemical resistance. Even large splashes of liquid metal (up to 35g) can remain on the fabric surface and cool down without penetrating the fabric.

In contrast to welding ceilings made of silicate fiber, the WELDINGER SD 14 ceramic fiber ceiling produces only low smoke emissions. This makes this welding protection blanket ideal for use in buildings and enclosed spaces.

We deliver the blanket in a high-quality protective bag for smooth transportation.
