Application and properties:
Arc soldering of galvanized, aluminized and uncoated steel sheets. Vehicle body construction, air conditioning, ventilation and container construction. The corrosion protection of galvanized surfaces is largely retained in the joining area. Distortion is kept to a minimum when soldering sheet metal. The lower hardness of the solder compared to the iron-based weld metal makes it relatively easy to work the seams in the visible area.
